What a Typical Evening Looks Like
The trip starts with a pickup from your hotel in the early afternoon. Once the city is behind you, the road turns to sand. The driver lets some air out of the tyres, and then the dune bashing starts. The 4x4 climbs each dune, tips over the top and slides down the other side. It's bumpy, but it's a lot of fun.
After that, there's a sunset stop on top of a big dune. From there, you head to the camp for a camel ride, dinner and live shows. At around 9 PM, it's time for the drive back to your hotel.
Is Dune Bashing Safe?
The drivers know these dunes very well and drive them daily. Seatbelts stay on the whole way. If you get car sick, eat a light lunch and ask for the front seat. Pregnant guests, people with back problems and parents with babies should tell us when they book, and we'll suggest the best package.
